Nearly everyone knows someone who has lost their baby through miscarriage and some unfortunately have experienced it themselves. This monkey, Kay has, having lost her beloved baby Son, Joseph, at 23 weeks.

Joseph was born sleeping and his Mum and Dad faced the devastating choices of how to say goodbye to a baby they held, said hello to the pregnancy test stick and their scans. A healthy boy with a beating heart, waving back, kicking and letting their parents know he was there.

How do you they and other families who have experienced this now say goodbye and grieve an unrecognised loss that leaves a profound feeling of grief,  isolation and loss from their Family Tree.

Kay (Joseph’s Mum) is raising funds to buy land to create a Burial and Memorial Garden dedicated for families to lay to rest and remember their Sons and Daughters. A natural space dedicated to give comfort to families and allow them to heal whilst feeling connected to their baby.

Kay, a complete Novice Runner has set herself the challenge to run The Truro Half Marathon on September 13th 2026. Having signed up, she then read it is a challenging course with plenty of hills!

Every step steps she takes, she will be raising funds to create their vision as a Charity  to provide a much needed garden for our Baby Angels, to give them a recognised permanent resting place.
